Mesa County Robbery Leads to Four Arrests

Grand Junction, CO — Four individuals, including two juveniles, have been arrested following an early-morning robbery in Mesa County in which the victim was assaulted with a firearm and had his vehicle stolen.

Around 2:00 a.m. on January 6, the Grand Junction Police Department was asked to assist in investigating a possible robbery. Detectives determined that several individuals, believed to be known to the victim, reportedly assaulted him with a firearm before fleeing in his vehicle.

The victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital for evaluation of injuries sustained during the assault.

Both were arrested on January 8, 2026, in connection with the incident.

Turner and Carter were booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility. The two juveniles arrested the previous day, a 17-year-old female and a 17-year-old male were transported to the Department of Youth Services.

All four suspects face the following charges:

  • Aggravated Robbery
  • Second Degree Assault
  • Auto Theft
  • Theft

In accordance with the Colorado Open Records Act, the identities of the juveniles will not be released.
