PALISADE, Colo. – The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the man who died in a motorcycle collision in Palisade on Thursday.
Glenn Holmes, 54, of Grand Junction, was identified as the victim of the crash that occurred near West 8th Street and Iowa Avenue on Jan. 15.
According to the release, Holmes was operating the motorcycle without a helmet when he collided with an automobile. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Coroner’s Office confirmed that an autopsy has been completed and determined the cause of death was due to injuries sustained in the accident.
