Fire crews were dispatched to Grand Mesa Hall on CMU campus for the report of a possible electrical fire in a bathroom vent. Lite smoke and “sparks” seen, no flames. No fire alarms have been triggered (by smoke). Building is evacuated. Crews on scene report no obvious smoke or flames. Crews are entering the building and investigating.
Update: Engine 2 has verified issue is contained to the bathroom vent and have isolated the problem. CMU maintenance has been requested to assist. Most engines and trucks have cleared from the scene.
