Grand Junction Fire Department responded to a small brush fire in a yard on 28 1/2 Road just north of Mesa Avenue. First engine on scene reported that the fire appeared contained to a yard and a resident was working to extinguish. Crews assisted with extinguishing the brush and are returning to stations.
