Felony menacing and an assault were reported around 10:34 p.m. in the 2900 block of B Road. Mesa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and requested EMS to stage in the area.
The reporting party told dispatch a suspect pulled a firearm before an altercation in which the reporting party then assaulted the suspect. Both individuals were reportedly intoxicated. Radio traffic indicated the reporting party was bleeding profusely and believed he may have a broken hand and was experiencing leg pain; the suspect was reported to possibly have a broken nose and an orbital injury.
