Police Seek Three Suspects in Safeway Theft Spree

GRAND JUNCTION, CO — Crime Stoppers of Mesa County is asking for the public’s help in identifying three male suspects involved in a string of high-value retail thefts.

On Tuesday, January 6, the three suspects allegedly targeted several Safeway stores in the Grand Junction area. According to Crime Stoppers, the individuals stole large quantities of merchandise, resulting in an estimated total loss of over $15,000.

The stolen items included:

  • Lithium batteries
  • Shaving cartridges
  • Teeth-whitening products
  • Eye drops and Omega supplements
  • Over-the-counter medications such as Pepcid AC, Zyrtec, and Flonase

Security footage captured the suspects, described as two White males between the ages of 36 and 50, and a third White male approximately 26 to 35 years old. The individuals reportedly fled the area in a black SUV.
