Police were in a short foot pursuit with a male suspect in the area of Monument Road and Broadway. Officers attempted to contact the suspicious male when we fled on foot. The suspect attempted to either access or hide something in his sock quickly during the incident. The uncooperative male was safely taken into custody with the help of additional officers. An ambulance was dispatched to check the suspect for a small abrasion to his forehead.
Radio traffic indicated the male had multiple outstanding warrants.
