A stabbing was reported around 8:30 p.m. at the front of a residence on Mesa Avenue east of 29 1/2 Road. Radio traffic indicated a 41-year-old male victim was conscious and breathing with stab wounds to his left hand and left thigh; responders were performing bleeding control. The assailant was reported to be inside the residence, armed with a knife and intoxicated. Police are working to take the suspect into custody.
