A stabbing was reported around 9:30 p.m. at a residence on Honeysuckle Cir in Fruita. Radio traffic indicated the assault occurred approximately 20 to 45 minutes before the call. Fruita police and EMS from Lower Valley Fire are on scene.
Radio traffic described a 26-year-old male victim who was conscious and breathing with a stab wound to the chest. A female suspect was reported detained at the residence and two other people were also present.
