FRUITA, CO — A 20-year-old woman is facing felony assault and domestic violence charges following a reported stabbing at a residence Wednesday night.
At approximately 9:31 p.m. on March 4, 2026, Fruita Police officers responded to a reported assault. Upon arrival at the home, officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim received initial medical aid at the scene before being transported to a local hospital for further care.
Following the investigation, officers arrested Samantha Delgiesh, 20. She was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges:
- Assault in the First Degree (Felony 3)
- Assault in the Second Degree on a Peace Officer (Misdemeanor 2)
- Obstruction of a Peace Officer (Misdemeanor 2)
- Domestic Violence
