Emergency responders were sent with lights and sirens to Cheyenne Drive and Acoma Court in Orchard Mesa after a gray Forester struck a telephone pole. Police and fire/EMS units, including engine, truck and rescue crews, were dispatched to the scene.
Initial reports indicate one male patient is breathing but pinned in the vehicle with his head between the doorframe and a seat. The vehicle was reported to still be in drive after the collision.
Officers administered two doses of Narcan to the male.
Update: radio traffic indicates no disabling damage to the vehicle. Incident possibly drug related.
