
Fire and EMS units responded shortly before 9:00 p.m. to a reported house fire on Placer Street. Crews arriving on scene reported a small two-story single-family home with fire on the second floor and called the residence fully involved. Occupants were reported evacuated; it was unknown if anyone else remained inside. Engine 2 announced it would operate using an offensive firefighting strategy to attack the fire.
Radio traffic did not indicate any injuries. Fire crews have the blaze under control and will continue working on scene until all hot spots are extinguished.
