Arson Suspect Arrested Following 25 1/2 Road Fire

GRAND JUNCTION, CO — A 28-year-old woman has been arrested after investigators determined she intentionally set fire to a residence in a Grand Junction mobile home park on Monday morning.

On April 20, 2026, at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to assist the Grand Junction Fire Department with an active structure fire at the Paradise Valley Mobile Home Park, located at 585 25 1/2 Road.

Fire crews successfully extinguished the blaze, and no injuries were reported during the incident.

Following a joint investigation by Grand Junction Police Department detectives and fire investigators, authorities determined the fire was intentionally set. Investigators identified the suspect as 28-year-old Heather Johnson.

Johnson was arrested and transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility, where she was booked on the following charge:

  • Fourth-Degree Arson
