A single-vehicle crash was reported about 4:24 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 70 near Exit 42 (Palisade West), close to mile marker 43. Fire and EMS units, including Engine 41, Ambulance 42 and a rescue unit, were dispatched with lights and sirens. Law enforcement was also reported on scene.
Radio traffic indicated the vehicle hydroplaned and went into the median. Two occupants were out of the vehicle when units arrived. Responders were on scene assessing the situation and checking for any injuries.
