Dispatch advised units around 6:20 p.m. to respond to a reported vehicle rollover at South Pine Street and Cedar Way in Fruita after a caller reported a rolled vehicle that struck a telephone pole. Fruita police units were sent to the area and fire and EMS were requested.
The caller reported airbag deployment and described a red Subaru and a black Toyota truck or SUV involved. Radio traffic indicated the driver of the black Toyota was holding his head; the extent of any injuries was unknown as crews worked to get an ambulance to the scene.
