A motorcycle-versus-vehicle crash was reported shortly after 8:30 p.m. at the Mesa Mall access road by Home Depot, on Patterson Road. Grand Junction police, fire and EMS responded with lights and sirens.
Radio traffic indicated a gray SUV was blocking the eastbound lanes on Patterson. The motorcycle rider, a 23-year-old male, was lying on the ground but moving; he was conscious and breathing and reporting leg pain. Crews were on scene providing patient care.
