An ATV crash was reported about 6:12 p.m. at 58 Road and KK Road. Mesa County sheriff deputies and EMS units were dispatched to the scene, and CareFlight was paged.
Scanner traffic indicated a 30-year-old female rider was unconscious but breathing after reportedly going through a barbed-wire fence. Bystanders were controlling bleeding from a head injury.
