Emergency crews were dispatched around 4:00 p.m. to the bridge at 32 Road on the south side of the river after radio traffic reported a man had fallen off a cliff embankment.

Responders said the 85-year-old patient was located on the west side of the bridge, reportedly fell about 20 feet, and is complaining of back pain. Radio traffic is describing minor to moderate injury. Fire and rescue crews discussed access options including crossing or wading the river and were advised to pick up an engine, personal flotation devices and ropes from the station; crews also mentioned staging at Corn Lake.
