A police foot pursuit was reported about 7:50 p.m. in the 1700 block of North 17th Street near Orchard Avenue. Grand Junction Police units were following a vehicle south on 17th Street when a subject inside a truck reportedly refused to comply with commands after a short vehicle pursuit.
Radio traffic indicated a taser was deployed and medics were requested to respond with lights and sirens for a possible head injury. Officers later reported the scene was under control and one male was detained at the location.
