Palisade and Clifton Rescue crews responded around 11:56 a.m. to reports of a 31-year-old female hiker who injured her head on the Mount Garfield Trail. Dispatch traffic described the woman as conscious and breathing but bleeding from her head, slurring her words and appearing confused. She was unsure of her exact location but was reported to be past the first hills on the first flat area of the trail. CareFlight was also dispatched.
