A medical call was dispatched for an injured motocross rider at the “Black Wall” area near 27 1/4 Road in the desert. Mesa County sheriff units, BLM personnel and fire/EMS ATV teams were en route, and CareFlight was airborne.
Ground crews staged at the motocross track to meet incoming resources and were coordinating communications with CareFlight to establish the exact patient location and access.
