Homeowners were using hoses and had mostly extinguished a fence fire before crews arrived; responders reported heavy smoke but no active flames. Nearby houses were about 24 feet from the fire and were not immediately threatened. Fire crews held briefly on scene, then terminated tactical operations and returned to service. No injuries were reported in the scanner traffic.
