Police were in a short foot pursuit in the area of Home Depot and Goodwill on 24 1/2 Road. Officers held a suspect at taser point and took them safely into custody. Incident was likely related to a theft. At the same time, a sheriff deputy attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle that fled at a high rate of speed towards the Home Depot parking lot area. Unknown if the two incidents are related. Both sheriff and police are investigating.
