RV Crash, Power Outage, Patterson Rd & N 1st St

A vehicle crash was reported about 2:27 p.m. at Patterson Road and North 1st Street. Fire and EMS units responded with lights and sirens, and law enforcement was en route.

Radio traffic indicated a 35 foot RV left the roadway and struck an electrical pole and power box on the southwest corner of Patterson and N 1st. Crews reported the RV went through a power box, fluids were leaking. A 70-year-old male driver was initially reported unconscious but breathing; later traffic indicated the driver was standing. Fire crews said they were blocking southbound traffic on N 1st Street and requested heavy rescue resources (Truck 1/Rescue 1).

Power outages and traffic signal failures were reported at nearby intersections, including 7th & Patterson, 1st & Patterson and 15th & Patterson, causing traffic impacts in the area.
