Grand Junction Police and an air unit conducted a high-risk stop shortly after 2:08 p.m. after officers tracked a stolen vehicle that was reported in the area earlier in the day. Radio traffic placed the vehicle behind a veterinary clinic near Clymer Way.
Officers quickly detained the driver and another occupant during the traffic stop without incident. No injuries were reported.
