Police responded shortly after 6:48 p.m. to the area of Orchard Avenue and North 12th Street after business employees reported a man approached staff outside with a baseball bat, yelling and making threats. Scanner traffic indicated the subject was possibly intoxicated and was seen on the west side of the building;
Officers arriving on scene held the male suspect at gunpoint until he was safely detained. No injuries were reported.
