
A head-on, two-vehicle crash was reported on Highway 6 and 50 near 23 Road. Fire and EMS units including Engine 3 and Ambulance 13 were dispatched to the scene and were advised to respond with lights and sirens.
Radio traffic indicated a white SUV and teal SUV with at least one person suffering burns to a forearm. Another occupant was complaining of back pain. Total extent of injuries was unknown from dispatch reports. Crews arriving on scene report the vehicles were separated by ~200 yards after the initial crash, or possibly a secondary crash.
Crews are now investigating a secondary vehicle crash that might have occurred after the first incident.
