
A two-vehicle crash was reported about 8:00 a.m. on Interstate 70 at mile marker 20. Lower Valley Fire and Rescue units from Station 31, including Engine 31 and Ambulance 33, and Fruita police responded with lights and sirens.
Radio traffic indicated a black GMC Terrain was in the median and a white Hyundai Santa Fe was also involved. All occupants were out of their vehicles and walking; a 27-year-old female was conscious and breathing and complained of side pain. No one was reported trapped or pinned. Crews are on scene investigating and checking for injuries.
