A traffic hazard was reported around 3:10 p.m. after a passerby told deputies a silver-and-white vehicle was straddling the railroad tracks near E Road and 30 Road. Law enforcement informed Union Pacific to stop train traffic in the area.
Radio traffic indicated the vehicle was abandoned on the southern siding tracks east of 30 Road. No injuries were reported. Deputies requested a tow truck to remove the vehicle off the tracks and are continuing their investigation.
