Emergency crews responded around 2:45 p.m. to a vehicle crash at Patterson Road and 27 1/2 Road after radio traffic reported a white Ford Super Duty struck a Kia Soul and left the scene heading eastbound.
Radio traffic indicated the Kia driver called from the Northeast Christian Church parking lot reporting injuries. Dispatch initially sent units with lights and sirens before directing them to reduce to a routine response.
Crews on scene reported minor damage and that all occupants were safely out of their vehicle. Witnesses told dispatch the Kia driver tried to stop the driver of the truck and that the truck nearly ran over that person before leaving. Law enforcement and EMS continued to investigate and evaluate patients on scene.
