
A vehicle-versus-building crash was reported around 8:25 p.m. at the McDonald’s on North Avenue. Fire and EMS units responded with lights and sirens, and Grand Junction police were also dispatched to the scene.
Radio traffic indicated a red car struck the south-side corner of the building at a “high” speed. Two elderly occupants remained inside the vehicle; both were reported conscious and breathing and one patient had bleeding from the face. Law enforcement on-scene are reporting possible minor injuries for occupants.
