Emergency crews responded around 10:35 a.m. after multiple callers reported a two-vehicle crash near the Golden Gate area in Whitewater at Highway 50 and Willow Bend Road. Mesa County Fire Authority and EMS units were dispatched and arrived with lights and sirens; law enforcement also responded and is investigating.
Radio traffic indicated the crash involved a gray Nissan Frontier and a Nissan Rogue in the middle of the intersection, blocking traffic.
