MESA COUNTY, CO — The Mesa County Clifton Motor Vehicle office is officially moving from the Peach Tree Shopping Center to a new, county-owned facility at the Clifton Community Campus next month.
The relocation to 3270 D 1/2 Road ensures motor vehicle services remain accessible in Clifton while allowing the county to utilize an existing public building and reduce ongoing rental costs.
The current Clifton office will remain open through September 4. The office will officially open at its new location at the Clifton Community Campus on September 14.
During the transition week of September 7, motor vehicle services in Clifton will be temporarily unavailable as equipment is moved. During this brief closure, residents can continue to access motor vehicle services online or by visiting the branch offices in Grand Junction and Fruita.
Once reopened, operating hours and available services will remain unchanged. The office will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., providing residents with vehicle registration, title services, license plates, and related transactions.
