Fire crews were dispatched around 4:15 p.m. to Solar Studios on North Avenue near N 23rd Street for a commercial structure fire.
Crews arriving at the single-story commercial building reported light smoke from two vents and suspected the fire may have extended into the attic. Firefighters began pulling ceiling and gained roof access. Law enforcement was asked to shut down westbound North Avenue for traffic control. No injuries were reported in the scanner traffic.
The fire may have started by maintenance work on a wall inside the building.
