Lower Valley Fire crews were dispatched at about 2:06 p.m. to a reported brush fire near K Road and 22 Road. Radio traffic indicated the fire began in a dumpster and spread into nearby brush, with flames reportedly moving toward the 1000 block of 22 1/2 Road.
The fire was estimated at approximately 100 feet by 100 feet and was surrounded by vehicles and other debris. A possible shed fire was also reported. Crews were working to access the area from a canal road. No injuries were reported in the scanner traffic.
Update: Crews report full containment and are in their mop-up stage.
