Grand Junction police pursued and detained a male suspect Aug. 22 near the Monument Ridge Townhomes in Orchard Mesa. Officers reported a foot pursuit through the apartment complex before locating the man near a townhome unit and placing him in handcuffs.
Officers requested an ambulance after deploying a Taser. Initial reports also indicated a separate person may have been assaulted; no further injury details were available in the scanner traffic.
