Mesa County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 2:56 p.m. to a reported trespassing incident near Mesa Avenue and 32 Road. A male suspect was reportedly refusing to leave a residence and was later seen running near Kennedy Avenue and 32 Road.
The man was last seen running northwest across Mesa Avenue. Deputies searched nearby streets, fields, railroad tracks and an industrial area and were advised the suspect has an outstanding warrant.
Update: Deputies have located the suspect in a yard and have him safely detained.
