Fire crews and law enforcement responded at approximately 5:36 p.m. to a reported shed fire in the 200 block of Texas Avenue, just north of the workforce building. Propane cans were reportedly inside the shed, and the fire was possibly threatening a nearby house.
The house was evacuated, although one dog was reported to remain inside. The fire is spreading to a tree line in the backyard.
Update: Crews reported no extension to the home, and have the shed and vegetation fires contained or extinguished. No injuries were currently reported.
