Mesa County Sheriff’s deputies and Clifton Rescue responded at approximately 10:18 p.m. Sept. 8 to the 400 block of 31 1/4 Road for a disturbance. A caller reported subjects fighting, heard someone say to take the shot and then heard two shots. The caller believed at least three people were inside or near the home and that a firearm may have been involved.
No injuries were currently reported in the radio traffic. Deputies had contacted at least one person and are attempting to contact a possible suspect in a residence.
