Responders were dispatched shortly before 5 p.m. Friday to a dirt bike crash in the desert near 27 1/4 Road. A 17-year-old male was reported conscious and breathing with a possible broken leg about a half-mile from the road on a single-track trail.
EMS, sheriff’s deputies and ATV crews were responding with lights and sirens. Responders said the patient was not visible from the road and requested additional medical resources, including CareFlight.
