Firefighters responded around 3:06 p.m. to a dumpster fire at Rocky Mountain Court and 4th Avenue. Radio traffic indicated the dumpster was about 15 feet from the nearest apartment unit, with flames visible on the lid and a tree above it.
Truck 1 arrived and confirmed the dumpster was burning. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported in the scanner traffic.
