Mesa County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 10:28 p.m. Sept. 20 to a reported menacing incident near F 1/2 Road and 30 Road. A caller reported that a 38-year-old male had a gun and threatened to shoot his brother, reportedly pointing the weapon at both his brother and himself. Possibly a domestic disturbance.
Deputies located the male and held him at gunpoint until he was safely taken into custody. No injuries were reported. Law enforcement is in the area investigating.
