Clifton Fire crews were dispatched at approximately 3:03 p.m. to a tree fire near a home at Collyer Avenue and 32 5/8 Road. A passerby reported the tree burning on the east side of the road and said no one appeared to be tending the fire.
The fire was reported to be about 25 feet from the house, but radio traffic indicated the residence was not immediately threatened. Crews were responding to investigate and extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.
