Fire crews responded to a residential structure on 3rd Street and F Road after a resident opened the front door and found smoke, with alarms sounding. Clifton Fire and mutual-aid crews found fire and smoldering materials in the basement, where a badly burned person in a wheelchair was located.
An ambulance was requested for rapid transport, and crews reported the fire was out with light smoke remaining. Primary searches of the basement, first floor and upper half-story were clear. No additional injuries were reported in the scanner traffic.
