Emergency crews responded shortly after 4 p.m. to a vehicle-versus-electric-bike crash on 24 1/2 Road on the south side of Patterson Road. Fire and EMS units responded, with police requested for traffic control.
A 22-year-old male electric-bike rider was conscious and breathing but had a leg injury. The northbound lanes on 24 1/2 Road were temporarily blocked while crews investigated and treated the patient. The roadway was later cleared and reopened, with the patient moved to a nearby parking lot.
