Emergency crews and Grand Junction police responded around 2:34 p.m. Oct. 20 to a vehicle-versus-e-scooter crash at Independent Avenue and North 1st Street. Fire and EMS units were dispatched with lights and sirens.
The 28-year-old male scooter rider was conscious and breathing, but reported a head injury and bleeding from the mouth. He was walking around the scene when responders arrived. No additional injuries were reported in the scanner traffic.
