GRAND JUNCTION, CO — A 46-year-old chiropractor was arrested Thursday on four counts of unlawful sexual contact after multiple individuals reported inappropriate behavior during examinations.
On August 13, Grand Junction Police Department officers responded to a report of an alleged sexual assault in the northeast quadrant of the city.
During the investigation, detectives received reports from multiple individuals and developed probable cause to charge the suspect, identified as Joseph Heinecke, 46.
An arrest warrant was issued, and officers took Heinecke into custody without incident on October 22. He was transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility, where he was booked on the following charge:
- Unlawful Sexual Contact/Medical Treatment (Four Counts)
