A vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash was reported around 8:07 p.m. Oct. 29 on westbound I-70 near mile marker 26. Fire and EMS crews responded after a caller reported she may have struck someone walking in the roadway.
One male patient was found conscious and breathing with an apparent broken left arm. Crews were evaluating the patient and preparing to provide pain management.
Radio traffic from State Patrol suggested the pedestrian may have been at fault and walking in the center of the interstate.
