Domestic disturbance with an individual threatening harm to himself and others on Powis Lane in Fruita. Male suspect is not allowing a female to leave the house to the safety of police on scene, and causing somewhat of a hostage type situation. Male has access to a firearm. Sheriff and State Patrol are assisting Fruita Police with the situation. A reverse 911 is being sent out to neighbors to shelter-in-place.
