Two Arrested on Drug Charges in Texas Ave Disturbance

From the Grand Junction Police Department:

On 12/21/24, at approximately 7:45 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a report of possible shots fired inside a residence located on the 1400 block of Texas Avenue.

Upon arrival, it was reported that a physical altercation had occurred between a resident of the home and two men. During the altercation, the reporting party reported hearing a gunshot and seeing two men flee from the residence. Officers attempted to contact a male and female inside the home, but there were no signs of movement. To ensure the safety of all individuals and verify whether anyone had been injured, officers breached the door of the home. Upon entry, officers contacted a male and female who did not appear to have sustained gunshot injuries. A protective sweep of the residence revealed no other individuals present.

Through the course of the investigation, Grand Junction Police officers discovered evidence in the house that a shot had been fired and a large amount of fentanyl and other illegal substances present. The male and female were arrested and booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges:

Colt Davidson (age 34)

  • Special Offender
  • Controlled Substance-Distribute Fentanyl
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Sch I/II of Methamphetamine
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
  • Controlled Substance-Possession of Fentanyl
  • Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance Sch I/II
  • Tampering with Physical Evidence
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Mandy Stice (age 19)

  • Possession of Sch I/II Controlled Substance
  • 1stย Degree Introducing Contraband
  • Tampering with Physical Evidence
  • Two Counts of Possession of Sch I/II Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

The two males who fled the scene before law enforcementโ€™s arrival are still outstanding. This appears to be an isolated incident, and officers are in the early stages of the investigation. No additional information is available at this time.
